That was quite sad, but honestly I adore how you depict the sort of depression where it's so hard to get out of the room even though you're rotting to get out and experience the world when you have nothing but only yourself, and even then it isn't reliable.
I'm glad that in the Ending: Recall, it ends ambiguously yet uplifting in a way because while it didn't fix the entire situation, it did give the MC a chance and maybe that's all it takes; just one chance.
Really lovely short VN, an excellent example of what can be done even with the O2A2 limitations, I really like the fact the we can decide to just straight up don't watch the tape; but if we do...
Well the character is really REALLY cute, the music fits so well and it has all the little details that make it a great experience, like the text Soundfont, the bag of suspicious Vanilla Soy Sauce chips (Is this a real thing that exist?!) the small expression changes really feel powerful, specially when the "video" looks you in the eye.
Thank you so much for playing the game and for the neat gameplay!! :DD Soy sauce on vanilla ice cream is a thing, but not sure if it has a chips version haha
Good job on the game, you really crafted an interesting story for such a short game. I really like the openness of the game, nothing is ever really solved so we keep questioning not only the video, but ourselves as well. Would be interesting to see a follow on game to discover more about the video.
I love how you begin by thinking the mystery is "who's that?" but the actual mystery ends up being "who am I?" Very interesting arc! I found the ending kind of abrupt though--I would have liked to find out more. (Especially since you had word count to spare.)
